“Afterglow“ is the third single from the upcoming album of power/heavy modernists EUFORY. Once again, it reveals the incredible spectrum of genres that the five-piece, sometimes called to as the ‘Slovak Helloween’, cover on their third record.

The third album „Fifth Dimension“ of the power chameleons from Martin (Slovakia) will be released at the end of this month. After two previous bangers, the current lyric video for the single „Afterglow“ presents them in a different, darker and more pensive mood.

The chase for profit, making promises even knowing their unfulfillment, creating pain. To feel alive, we will do anything but without changing our attitude. We wander in the dark and in a rut. And it becomes our drug and a false religion.

That’s how the new song works in its march-like tempo, which is broken up by the chorus sung by the choir. While the guitars here are still playful and carry a progressive feel, „Afterglow“ drops the act the fool, as it did on previous single „Day For Night“, and goes under the surface. And that often takes time. „I’ve had a sketch of the song for a long time, it just needed to mature,“ the words of guitarist Stefan confirm, who is also the main songwriter in EUFORY.

But fans needn’t have any worries that, again in Stefan’s words, „one of the less traditional EUFORY songs“ would seem like a fist in the eye and wouldn’t fit on the album. „Of course, we refreshed it together and gave it a newer vibe, and it fits the album quite brilliantly,“ says Štefan for the last time. At the end of this month you will be able to check it out, because the album „Fifth Dimension“ will be released by Smile Music on March 31.
