Getting closer to the release of their upcoming Dissonance LP, The D.O.O.D. are proud to present band’s newest blood-freezing single. ‘The Pentecostal’ is a conceptual symbiosis between The Crow and the XVIII century goth-literature. “We basically just shouted out random ideas. And a story stuck about a person who gets introduced into the life of an extreme Pentecostal church and their beliefs.” – explain the band. “The protagonist eventually begins to feel he doesn’t agree or believe anything….”. A triller-type-of-story leads the principal character getting possessed and rising up the dead. “While writing for such an imaginative kind of horror movie, we kept in our minds that the music should reflect that feeling. At least to us. We hope that comes across to the fans as well.” – stress the band.
Following the success of ‘Chaos For The Fly’ and ‘Subterfuge’, the D.O.O.D. are proud to incorporate the principally new model of record-release machinery in what they’re doing. ‘Full album releases in this age tend to not get as much traction as they would if instead of releasing full albums, we give the audience one song at a time.’ – explain the team of Self-Made Records. And effective strategy that brought Metallica to sell 17,3 billion of copies of the iconic ‘Black Album’ has been chosen as one of the most effecting strategies in the ever-changing era of the digital releases. ‘We want our artists to be able to reach as many listeners as possible. Founded in Sarasota,FL in 2004, The Distinguished Order of Disobedience (The D.O.O.D.) established the new quality standards for the hi-energy live performances, that eventually brought the band finding a place at a national scene. Complemented by extensive tours in North America. Originally put together by Raynus and Jonzey DOOD, the five-piece gained an uncompromising reputation driving the heavy-metal hands over good hooks and unabashed and unafraid riffs, all the while grinding forward into the music of today and tomorrow.
