Style: Heavy/Thrash Metal

Brazilian Heavy/Thrashers of TRENDKILL INC recently went from a quartet to a quintet after experienced musician, Diego Veras (ex-Metallica Brasil Tribute) joined the band as Sandro “Murdok” Fernandes’ six-string companion.
“It was with great satisfaction that I received the invitation by Alexandre Fontana in December to be the rhythm guitarist of Trendkill Inc. A challenge that I faced after almost two years without playing Heavy/Thrash Metal, but joining the band and listening to the powerful guitars created by Sandro “Murdok” on the eponymous debut EP made me love those styles again. I went to watch one of their shows and had the opportunity to meet them and at the time I felt an immediate identification and vibe“, commented Diego Veras.
Diego’s official debut as guitarist for Trendkill Inc. took place on January 9th, at a free open-air concert on Avenida Paulista, in Sao Paulo. “We had the first show on Avenida Paulista and under the rain, with both soul and instruments washed, it was great to come back and be part of this team”, he concluded.

The eponymous debut EP, released on December 12th on all traditional digital platforms and also on physical CD, has five powerful tracks with a lot of punch and riffs that are a hybrid mix of influences from traditional Heavy Metal and more modern Thrash Metal, exploring everyday themes, social and even philosophical issues with a lot of identity.

At the moment, the band has been performing few shows around the city of Sao Paulo due to pandemic restrictions, but intend to expand their schedule as much as possible as soon as everything is normalized, as well as prepare for another official music video.
