The Decayed (US) Thrash | Metal | Punk | Hardcore
The Decayed are a band formed on the southside streets of Chicago, Illinois, USA that formed in early 2018. They blend metal, punk, hardcore and thrash to energize and obliterate the ears of their listeners. The group are a raw, fast, punch in the gut. Their songs are inspired by horror, gore and the inhumanity of the world around us. The Decayed mix straight forward lyrics depicting the cruel underbelly of society to lyrics inspired by horror movies and the splatter fest they entail.
Loud and fast melodic melodies flow through on the guitar with pounding bass lines ripping through the songs. The drums bulldoze though with a raw intensity that can not be understated with double bass and blast beats that cannot be denied. The Decayed are a fast, hard and even occasionally catchy band that leaves you wanting more.
The new album Corrupt Politicians Will Never Set You Free will be released worldwide via Sliptrick Records later in the year.
