Weekend Recovery are back with their third studio album ‘Esoteric’. Releasing on CD, digital and Limited Edition coloured 12” via Criminal Records, the album launches alongside lead-off single ‘No Saint’ feat. guest vocals from Joel from Hydeout. The track represents the harder edge to a captivating and hook-laden indie-punk record.
Mixing in-yer-face vox, fuzz guitars & straight-talking lyrics, it’s this mix that’s seeing the Sheffield trio into editorial playlists, with sell out shows and incendiary festival sets at Kendal Calling, Bingley Weekender & at The Great Escape, Brighton.
The first cuts from the record ‘Chemtrails’ & ‘No Guts All The Glory’ have gone down a storm, amassing support from BBC R1, 6Music, Radio X, Kerrang! Radio, Amazing Radio, Absolute Radio, Planet Rock, BBC Sheffield & BBC York. International support has been growing too, with airplay on RTE 2 Ireland, Amazing Radio US, KEXP, Seattle & as wide reaching as national USA station Sirius XM.
