Heavy Metal Fans

Tommie “Dawson” Karlsson and Anders Andersson formerly played together in the progressive metal band Sanity. In 2014 they founded Black Ledd. And musically they turned to Hard Rock / Heavy Metal. Apart from that, you can hardly find any information about the band. “Heavy Metal Fans” seems to be the debut album.
With the title song “Heavy Metal Fans” at the beginning, the trio shows that they mean this title seriously. The lyric line
We are the heavy metal fans
Screaming guitars, and lots of beer cans
is programme. Riffs bang out of the speakers in the best Heavy Metal manner. Singer Christer “Cidda” Elmgren immediately captivates the listener. With “Cold Trash Coming” the speed is increased even more. “Bad Sign” is a bit calmer, a strong bass line introduces the song before rhythmic riffs start. A midtempo stomper. But the supposed calm is only short. Already with “Ignite Your Life” it goes into full swing again. “Hold Your Ground” is dominated by driving double bass attacks. And so it goes on. No matter if “Burning Fever”, “Running In The Night”, “Liar.” Blakk Ledd always give their all. Only at the hymn “Pitch Black Hole” does it get a bit quieter again. But no less powerful. After a restrained beginning, the last song “Take Em Down” really gets going again.
For fans of Judas Priest, Dokken, Accept, Primal Fear, Pretty Maids. Says the press release. And that’s exactly what it is. Ten times powerful Classic Heavy Metal. You can quickly sing along to the chorus of every song. And headbang for more than fifty minutes with full conviction. What more could a Metal fan want?
