LOS ANGELES, CA – Multi-hyphenate music artist, actor, and fashion innovator Chase Hudson – professionally known as Huddy – has unveiled his sophomore album, Somebody to Hate, available to stream/download HERE. The companion music video for the title track can be viewed HERE. This anticipated release marks five years since his debut LP, Teenage Heartbreak, in 2021. The new record captures Huddy at his most vulnerable, defiant, and self-assured, as he reclaims his voice on his own terms and gives the middle finger to mistreatment from the naysayers. The LP was created alongside some of alt-rock’s biggest collaborators, including Erik Ron (Panic! At The Disco, Bad Omens), Keith Varon (Machine Gun Kelly), Travis Mills (Girlfriends), Curtis Peoples (Pierce The Veil, Movements), Jayden Seeley (Set It Off), and more.

Across 13 tracks, including pre-released fan-favorite singles “Cheap,” “Vendetta,” “Burn The Ballroom Down,” and “Fragile,” Chase confronts fame and public perception head-on as one of Gen Z’s defining cultural figures. Somebody to Hate also signifies him stepping into a new era as an independent artist.

“‘Somebody To Hate’ is an album for everyone that wants to feel something real – a journey through storytelling of the things that I’ve felt or experienced as a young artist trying to make it in the alternative world. There’s struggle, confusion, hopelessness, grief, heartache, love, and empowerment. Against all odds, I kept persevering until I got to where I wanted to be. I felt like I was being labeled somebody that people wanted to hate, so I took that and turned it into a positive by taking ownership of the critiques everyone wanted to make about me,” Huddy commented.

With more than 266 million global streams and a community of 40 million followers across social platforms, Huddy has earned co-signs from Travis Barker and Machine Gun Kelly and become a fixture in fashion through front row appearances at Dior, Saint Laurent, Amiri, and Rabanne runway shows. Currently serving as an official Rabanne ambassador, Huddy has expanded into film and television, joining FOX’s comedy competition series Nation’s Dumbest and starring opposite Sara Waisglass in the 2026 Tubi rom-com How to Lose a Popularity Contest, which debuted among the top 10 most-watched streaming originals in its first week, according to Luminate.
