BREATHE ATLANTIS SHARE “GOING DOWN” VIDEO — WATCH

OVERDRIVE OUT NOW

“German breakdown specialists tune up the metalcore chassis. 2022 is the year Breathe Atlantis finally break through” — Metal Hammer

Metalcore shooting stars BREATHE ATLANTIS have released their new studio album Overdrive, today, March 18.

They also shared the video for “Going Down.” Watch it here.

Overdrive has become a turning point for us, which we all needed,” says singer Nico Schiesewitz. “On the record, we process our past, in which we were often frustrated and depressed, due to external circumstances and we felt limited and constricted by expectations or external ideas. On this album, we just did what we felt like doing and wrote and shouted everything from the soul. This is our most honest and emotional album we’ve written so far and I think it will speak to a lot of people.”

With Andy Posdziech (Any Given Day), Breathe Atlantis got a big player in the German metal scene as a producer. With his experience, he brought the true musical self of the band to the surface and wrapped it in a modern and aggressive sound garment, adorned with an incomparable and raw aesthetic.

Following the release of Soulmade, Breathe Atlantis have matured like good wine. They craft catchy songs that encourage singalongs, brutal mosh parts, and refreshingly honest lyrics.
