Sludge/death metal juggernaut Halflighted presents their latest offering to the metal world. The band is thrilled to announce the release of the official music video for their track “Ànima Fosca,” taken from their highly acclaimed album “Obloquy,” available now via Wormholedeath.
“Ànima Fosca” delves into a world of darkness and introspection. They paint a vivid picture of a desolate landscape where the sun hides, demons lurk in the shadows, and tormented souls face punishment in the depths of hell. the song evokes a bleak and introspective mood, exploring themes of existential questioning, inner turmoil, and the struggle to break free.

Halflighted was born in 2018 in Catalonia, conceived by the minds of Óskart and Mark following the disbandment of Mark’s previous Death Metal project, Dryzer. What started as a Death Doom Metal endeavor slowly evolved into an eclectic and genre-defying force as the current line-up solidified over the years.
Halflighted’s “Obloquy” is the fusion of five completely divergent influences, converging at a point far removed from any compromises with the listener.
