Magnetic Eye Records will reissue RESTLESS SPIRIT’s acclaimed and already sought-after sophomore full-length “Blood of the Old Gods” (2021) on October 28, 2022. The stoner sludge trio from Long Island, New York is celebrating this occasion with the release of a new band video clip for the track ‘Judgement and Exile’

Heaped with such praise, Long Island trio RESTLESS SPIRIT reaped the sweet rewards for daring to experiment on their latest album by adding a cohesive narrative throughout its 39 minutes of pounding heaviness.
Featuring the fittingly brooding artwork from famed pulp-painter Frank Frazetta, “Blood of the Old Gods” weaves together grandiose sonic landscapes and haunting moments that leave a lasting impression. Among other critical acclaim, RESTLESS SPIRIT‘s diligently crafted full-length also earned the Americans top honours on DoomCharts.com with a #1 ranking in December of 2021.
RESTLESS SPIRIT started out in 2018, yet the trio from Long Island, New York already count two full-length albums and four EPs under their belt. While naming influences ranging from BLACK SABBATH via TYPE O NEGATIVE to THE SWORD, the band has clearly carved their own path through the US underground metal scene. With ferocious riffs firmly setting hooks into listeners’ ears, RESTLESS SPIRIT fit seamlessly within the stoner, doom, and sludge scenes, yet the trio also trade a strict diet of fuzz for a more varied, melodic approach.
The band has embarked on several tours in support of “Blood of the Old Gods” and will return to the road in winter 2022/23. RESTLESS SPIRIT are currently already hard at work on their third full-length, which will be released worldwide via Magnetic Eye Records in 2023.
