The band Supersonic formed by Ricardo Alexandre Alves de Souza (vocals and guitar), Leandro Barbosa (bass) and Ricardo Sousa Fialho (drums and backing vocals), has just released a new single entitled “Dirty Mind” on all digital platforms via Electric Funeral Records. The single was recorded at Conspiração Records and produced by Lau Andrade.
The track that has a punk rock and grunge feel, more direct and aggressive, initially released as a single, will be part of the band’s first full album that is being finalized. Although the production is recent, the song was made at the beginning of the band’s formation, being one of the group’s first compositions. “Dirty Mind” is about random thoughts, self-pride, and it’s also about the choices we make in life and how not to regret those choices.
Since the beginning of its formation, the songs were already composed and sung in English. Always influenced by the Grunge and Alternative Rock era of the 90’s, with distorted guitars, marked bass and intense drums.
Returning to the band’s activities and in the first rehearsals, the trio felt the need to record, entering the studio to record 11 songs in July of the same year. The CD is still being finalized, about to be released in singles format on digital platforms in the year 2021.
